Dear all, I am booking some dates for MUGSTAR, FOLLAKZOID, ISLET, DAVE PHILLIPS.

MUGSTAR (UK) Availability: 8th June 2014 Territory: Belgium ISLET (Wales) Availability: from mid April 2014 onwards Territory: Europe FOLLAKZOID (Chile) Availability: May and June 2014 Territory: Belgium DAVE PHILLIPS (Switzerland) Availability: 16th and 17th March 2014 Territory: Belgium FOLLAKZOID Föllakzoid began in Santiago, Chile from what they describe as the result of, “a product of a trance experience between friends, sort of a soul abduction in which they’ve been living since 2008.” The band is made up of multi-faceted artists: Juan Pablo (bass, vocals) is a producer of the Sangre Fresca Music Festival in Santiago, Diego (drums) is a photograher, Alfredo (synth) is an architect, and Domingo (guitar) is also a filmmaker who just premiered his first feature length movie “Partir to Live”. They believe that there is some sort of gravitational force that makes South America able to dialogue directly with other places, times, and dimensions. The band have all known each other from childhood in Santiago. They take their times recording albums, generally allowing two years in between perfecting their songs with their goal being to make something organic, that breaths on it’s own, which integrates into part of a separate, higher and bigger living organism. MUGSTAR Mugstar are an English rock band, influenced by kraut/psych/space/noise rock such as Oneida, Sonic Youth, Neu! and Hawkwind. Since 2003 they have issued several full length albums, a split release with Mudhoney and an etched 10”. Mugstar recorded the last-ever Peel Session with the late John Peel. Mugstar formed in Liverpool. Their first single, « Spotlight Over Memphis », drew attention from John Peel, who played the 7″ on his radio show. It was after the next 7″, « Flavin’ Hotrod », that Peel offered the band a Peel Session. A split 7″ with Hunting Lodge followed. A mini-album on Kabukikore Records, « Dark Matter », come next, closely followed by a session for BBC Radio One’s Huw Stephens. In January 2006 the band released « My Baby Skull Has Not Yet Flowered ». The band’s self-titled debut album was released on CD at the end of 2006 on Sea Records, and on Critical MASS Records on a limited run of heavy weight vinyl in 2007. Mugstar then started a productive relationship with Ireland based Trensmat Records with run of limited 7″ singles. One of these releases was a split 7″ with Seattle’s Mudhoney, with both bands doing covers of Hawkwind songs. During this time Red Panda and Mugstar featured on a one-sided 10″ single, each performing half of « Tamlin », a song made famous by Fairport Convention. ISLET Capturing the crazy is not an easy task. Just ask Islet: the group are perhaps one of the strangest live acts around, their bizarre blend of psychedelic sounds and tropical outbursts create something quite disturbing on stage. The members of the band have a habit of jumping into the crowd and playing audience members like drums, which is a bit strange too, I guess. DAVE PHILLIPS dp re/searches and ponders existences and behaviourisms humanimalistically via sonic de/construction and psycho-acoustics. sound as a means to activate primordial shared emotions otherwise hidden by civilised experience – sound is communication in direct & primal form, a method of understanding. dp’s work shares, triggers existentialist ruminating and exchange, is a catalyst for the action of engaging, insinuates awareness, muses on honesty, responsibility, intervention and laughter and delivers some form of release, a release that is liberating & purifying, a polemical catharsis that opposes the omnipresent reduction of existence, a ritual that desires to cast aside artificial, material and superstitious arrangements and constraints and puts us in touch with our sentient origins as much as with realities of the times we live in. dp has been sonically active for over 25 years, has appeared on more than 170 releases and has played near to 400 concerts in 38 countries. Thanks for reading. I hope to hear from you asap. Regards. Alain
