MAIN
There has been a recent surge in activity from Robert Hampson, with all manner of solo recordings and performances popping up. Its only logical that he reactivates his beloved Main project. As we all know, Main laid the foundations during the 1990s for much of love of abstract guitar treatments in electronic music throughout the 2000s.
Hampson has teamed up with Stephan Mathieu to create a stunning new album. On ‘Ablation’, Mathieu adds extra tonal colour and an obscure rhythmic palette to Hampson’s exacting treatments and detailed use of layered concrète sounds to create an emotionally charged and fascinating work.

STEPHAN MATHIEU
Stephan Mathieu (born 11 October 1967) is a German musician and sound artist whose work is based on digital and analog processing techniques. He currently lives and works in Bonn, Germany.
Stephan Mathieu is a self-taught composer and performer of his own music, working in the fields of electroacoustics and abstract digitala. His sound is largely based on early instruments, environmental sound and obsolete media, which are recorded and transformed by means of experimental microphony, re-editing techniques and software processes involving spectral analysis and convolution.

MUGSTAR
Currently signed to Massachusetts’ Important Records, MUGSTAR have
released six albums since 2006, the last being Record Store Day 2013
album release ‘Centralia’; a cosmic motorik voyage recorded in
Berlin. December 2013 and January 2014 sees the release of two new
records; ‘Cosmic Mugstar Dead’ and ‘Start from Zero’;
collaborations with The Cosmic Dead for the former and the latter with
Damo Suzuki. Their next releases will be a re-issue of their 2010
album ‘…sun, broken…’ and a singles / rarities double vinyl
release, forwarded by extensive tours and a brand new album in October
2014.
MUGSTAR’s live shows are renowned being an audio / visual assault on
the senses and have recently successfully headlined the Saturday night
of Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia alongside Clinic.
They have also appeared at All Tomorrow’s Parties, Supernormal,
Primavera, Monkey Week, Le Guess Who and Supersonic Festivals.

DRIP DRY MAN & THE BEAT REVOLVER
After many touring through Europe, the English one man band the Drip
Dry Man landed in Amsterdam, settled down and presents himself and his
band the Beat Revolver at Paradiso, October 31st 2012. Many shows
followed as support for Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Jim Jones Revue,
Dead Meadow, Experimental Tropic Blues Band, etc,… as well a great
tour in Germany and Spain

Thanks for reading.

I hope to hear from you asap.

All the best.

Alain
