........................................................................................................................................................

YAIR YONA
The Album follows the paths of 1920s and 1930s Mississippi and Delta blues, country and rag-time, expressed in original, personal compositions , that form the album's diverse 'colors' and experimentations.Among Yair's variety of influences and styles you could name John Coltrane, John Fahey and Bert Jansch (to name a few), world music, jazz and alternative music.

DAVID SHEA
David Shea is an American avant-garde composer and occasional turntablist who has released records on experimental labels including Sub Rosa and John Zorn’s Tzadik, but who has clearly found an even more suitable stable in Lawrence English’s Room 40, on which Rituals see the light of day. The bulk, if not all, of the material(s) on Rituals was recorded in English’s native Australia, and from field recordings taken in the bush to the very psychological fabric of the album, it’s a work imbued with the spirit of that distant continent. From simple sources (found sounds, instruments, voices), Shea interweaves and juxtaposes each element into a rich sonic tapestry that instantly makes Rituals a challenging and invigorating experience.

PRINZHORN DANCE SCHOOL
Prinzhorn Dance School is the musical moniker for Tobin Prinz and Suzi Horn. They work from a disused church in the UK where they make all of their music and visual art.
Their debut album came out on the new york label dfa records, released in the UK by EMI. It prompted the british guardian newspaper to describe them as “the least commercially viable group ever signed to a major label.”
Prinz and Horn do make music that is sparse, original, uncompromising and idiosyncratic. But never for the sake of it.

BELLY HOLE FREAK
Born under the bad sign of a dirty blues crazy wind, _BELLY HOLE
FREAK ONE MAN BAND_ has moved to a new set basically influenced
by _DELTA BLUES, DIXIELAND, COUNTRY, BOOGIE_ inspired by giants as
Howlin’ Wolf, Captain Beefheart, Robert Johnson, Tom Waits.....
The intent of Belly Hole Freak is to use a theatrical language melted
into the music, trying to communicate trough “nonsense” funny
words. Immagine a mime who start talking without knowing any world, give him
a guitar, a stomp and a microphone, think about an old circus of the
30’s, fell this surrealistic atmosphere….than you could meet Belly
Hole Freak screaming and laughing. The freak will be on the road again in October 2015 with the
“Superfreak tour Chapter 3” …

RETROVIRUS
n November 2012, Lydia Lunch toured select cities across North America with a monstrous unit dubbed RETROVIRUS, featuring guitarist
Weasel Walter (The Flying Luttenbachers, etc.), bassist Algis Kizys (Swans, Foetus) and drummer Bob Bert (Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore, Chrome
Cranks). The set consisted of a quasi-chronological display of musical raw power, ranging from material by Lydia’s classic units Teenage Jesus
and the Jerks, 13.13, 8-Eyed Spy and Shotgun Wedding as well as touching
on her solo debut “Queen of Siam” (ZE Records, 1980) and various other
projects up to the present. The reception to these hour-long sets of
bloodyminded sonic bullying was uniformly rapturous. To quote V. Vale,
of RE-Search infamy: “That was the most intense show I’ve seen you do,
Lydia.” Intense it was, and the smoldering intensity of that tour is
trapped on this ripping new release. As one will hear on this album,
RETROVIRUS is a well-oiled monolith of a unit: Scathing guitar shrapnel
strafing ominously massive bass slabs, hurled forward by pulverizing
drum thunder and topped by Lydia’s signature perma-scowl vocals. This is
no county fair cover-band - RETROVIRUS is a totally modern take on the
atrocities of the past and present, devoid of simpering nostalgia,
bristling with a scoriatingly modern sheen of violence and momentum. Now
is the time for people to get INFECTED.

GERT-JAN PRINS + ALAN COURTIS
The music of Alan Courtis always has a strong experimental sence and usually based on high-skilled techniques of prepeared sound, tape manipulations, processing of field recordings, live electronics, objects, cymbals, synthesizers, computer tools, playing traditionas (both acoustic and electric) instruments as well as self-built, strange and unusual instruments. Gert-Jan Prins has been known for twenty years as one of the most challenging sound artists in the Netherlands . He is an autodidact who focuses on the sonic and musical qualities of electronic 'noise'.

MY DAILY NOISE feat. ULRICH KRIEGER(France/Swizerland/Germany)
Daniel Buess : percussions & electronics
Daniel plays with Phoenix Ensemble, Basel, but also in different noise units and solo. He likes big drums, metal and heavy sounds. More here
Kasper T. Toeplitz : bass & computer
asper composes music between noise and contemporary and plays in many different set-ups, from orchestra to noise-gigs. He plays his bass through a computer. More here
MY DAILY NOISE is duo of Buess & Toeplitz, playing loud, aggressive music, using symphonic bass drums, giant springs, noise effects, low strings, lots of sub-bass and tons of distortion.
Ulrich Krieger (born 1962 in Freiburg) is a German contemporary composer, performer, improviser and experimental rock musician based in Los Angeles.

LA TALVERA
La Talvera continues with the tradition of occitan music, but also ventures in other genres, mixed, some of which cannot be classified !
Neither exclusively ragga, world, or traditional, the group is impressed of its meetings with the musicians of the Massilia Sound System,
as well as with Brazilian curureiros and other traditional occitan musicians.
The sound is still Occitan, but with a window open to the world. La Talvera's music is anchored in tradition, but creates links to the contemporary world, building bridges from one continent to another, from one time to another.

Thanks for reading.

I hope to haer from you as soon as possible.

Regards.

Alain
