Thank you very much for reading. All the best. Alain Dear all, I’m booking some dates for CIRCLE BROS CIRCLE BROS (Belgium) https://soundcloud.com/wim-lecluyse/sets/circle-bros-rust/s-dDH7N http://programma.vpro.nl/dwars/Portretten/dwars-portret—wim-lecluyse.html Availability: From mid March 2016 onwards + on reaquest Territory: Europe LOUP BARROW (France) https://vimeo.com/64419768 http://www.loupbarrow.com/ Availability: On request Territory: Belgium SHXCXCHCXSH (Sweden) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJsHVUpGuvI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eAn65q8HUk Availability: On request Territory: Belgium UVB 76 https://soundcloud.com/uvbsoixanteseize https://soundcloud.com/ruffhousebs6/ruffhouse-uvb-76-samurai-music-group-smg003 Availability: On request Territory: Belgium CIRCLE BROS Circle Bros is the solo project of Wim Lecluyse, from Ghent, Belgium. For over ten years, circle bros is looking for a balance between drones, semi-improvised songs and lofi ambient psychedelica., vaguely exploring the same field as the likes of Flying Saucer Attack, Grouper or Roy Montgomery. This has resulted in releases on labels as Trome Records, Bluesanct, and Lecluyse’s own label Morc Records, including splits and/or collaborations with the likes of Karina ESP, Annelies Monseré or Drekka. Live, Circle bros shared stage with acts as diverse as Ducktails, Castanets and Wouter van Veldhoven, performed on the Incubate festival and recorded a radio session for VPRO Dwars. The past few years, the recordings have focused more on the drone-oriented melodic songs, which culminates on the newest album ‘Rust’, which will appear on three:four records early 2016. The album continues the line of the previous, well-received lp Haven (on morc), but has a clearer sound, and is more organ- and vocals centered than the other output. LOUP BARROW Both, a composer capable of writing for an ensemble, and a multi-instrumentalist having played various uncommon instruments (Cristal Baschet, Glass Harp, Hammered Dulcimmer, chromatic M Bira, Hang…), Loup Barrow writes music able to drift from an orchestral feeling to a minimalist hum. Loup Barrow spent his early childhood in London surrounded by a musical family circle. Later, in France, his fascination for drumming began under the wing and the influence of Marcus Camus from whom he learned for several years, before continuing to study under several other outstanding teachers. SHXCXCHCXSH The once industrial city of Norrköping in eastern Sweden may not be the techno mecca of the world, but two members of Shxcxchcxsh find their hometown a perfect place to focus on music since the inception of the project. Found each other in Stockholm years back, the two started sharing love for the darker and more experimental realms of techno and soon followed the natural progression of working on music together. Combinedly they have a broad range of musical backgrounds and tastes from hip hop to rock-pop therefore bring diverse knowledge and experience to shape their unique sounds and ideas into deadly serious techno born out of the elements of noise, drone, glitch, broken beats, and pounding industrial and much more. After releasing on Semantica and Subsist, Shxcxchcxsh found a home in a thought-after contemporary techno label Avian run by Shifted and Ventress. Following the series of EPs that captured the curiosity and attention of techno world, came in June 2013 was “STRGTHS”, their debut album that successfully etched their unpronounceable name onto the audiences’ minds. In 2014 the duo unveiled their second full-length album « Linear S Decoded » in September, launching their next step into the career to further expand the breadth and depth of Shxcxchcxsh’s world with incredible complexity and sensibility without compromising the powerful mind-blowing techno that truly stands out from the crowd. UVB 76 (France) UVB 76 are Gaëtan Bizien and Tioma Tchoulanov, Paris-based video and sound artists. Their first EP ‘Enter 513’ (released on Midi Deux) is made with four tracks of an abrasive and warlike techno that give an overview of their musical influences. From raw industrial mecanisms to more abstract and cinematic experimentations, UVB 76 tries to give a sense of storytelling in their productions. The duo already shown his audiovisual live act in many venues and events, including Centre Georges Pompidou, Maintenant Festival, 75021, Machine du Moulin Rouge, Transient Festival, ISEA2015… Crossing bridges between new media and club music through visuals live manipulations — Alain Bolle / Some Noise 84, Rue des Pâquerettes 1030 Brussels Belgium

DANIELLE DE PICCIOTTO + ALEXANDER HACKE (
German-American artist couple Danielle de Picciotto and Alexander Hacke lives and works in Berlin. Since 2001 both jointly develop audio and visual performances to always be staged in a new artistic and musical manner. Their work is always unconventional, versatile and intercultural.
Thanks to their experiments their works complement one another in a very special way, thus creating new forms. And thanks to their versatile musical and artistic oeuvre both are true all-rounders.

LIBEREZ
Based in main orchestrator John Hannon’s remote studio No Recordings in Rayleigh, England, Liberez have expanded their palette from previous outings on Alter to produce a perfectly engineered machine that consumes the beholder. A tense, gut-wrenching listen wrought with carefully considered space, the range of techniques and the depth of atmosphere is staggering. All Tense Now Lax never settles on a simple depiction of dread, foreboding or anxiety but layers textures upon rhythms to produce towering minarets of conflicting emotion

SHARRON KRAUS
Sharron Kraus is a singer of folk songs, a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose solo work and collaborations offer a dark and subversive take on traditional music. As well as drawing on the folk traditions of England and Appalachia, her music is influenced by gothic literature, surrealism, myth and magick. Her songs tell intricate tales of rootless souls, dark secrets and earthly joys, the lyrics plucked as sonorously as her acoustic guitar.

POP. 1280
. 1280 are one of the most unique and exciting projects to explode onto the music scene in recent years. Begun in Brooklyn, NY by songwriters Ivan Lip and Chris Bug in 2009, the band began drawing sizable crowds with their edgy mix of electronic and punk influences, and their polished and professional live show. After a string of blistering singles, they were signed to Sacred Bones Records in 2010 and released their inaugural 12-inch recording, The Grid. Never ones to rest on their laurels, Pop. 1280 returned one year later with their critically acclaimed debut LP, The Horror. Several extensive American tours followed. 2013 saw the band complete their line-up with keyboardist Allegra Sauvage and wunderkind drummer Andrew Chugg. The foursome began work with legendary producer Martin Bisi and what emerged from that union was their dangerously ambitious second LP, which they christened Imps of Perversion. Pop. 1280 have been described as “the hardest working scumbags in New York City,” but this backhanded compliment hardly does credit to the complexity and intelligence behind their infectious grooves and highbrow lyrics. Their struggle is the timeless battle of man versus nature, of yin and yang. In their world, fear is real, and the only way to conquer tyranny is an uncompromising assault.

Regards.

SONS OF HUNS
The Portland trio rounded out by Ryan Northrop [drums] and Aaron Powell [bass, vocals] retreated to Sound of Sirens Studio in Los Angeles with producer Toshi Kasai [The Melvins] for a week in Jan 2015. During that time, the group honed its robust rock sound with the right flourishes of spacey elegance and artful bombast.
Puffing out smoke of Sabbath-ian proportions.
The heavy rock band is the right choice for fans of Kadavar, Pentagram, St.Vitus.

KARINE GERMAIX
After winning first prize for accordeon at the music academy Karine Germaix takes lessons and Master Classes with accordeon masters such as Pascal Contet, Semionov, Geir Draugsvoll, Frode Halti… She performs several John Cage pieces and takes part in jazz and improvised music festivals.
By joining several bands, she further enriches her repertoire with French chanson, pop music and world music from the Middle East, the Balkans, South America and Oceania. In 2014 she decides to free herself from these music genres and strikes a balance  between accessible music and sound exploration. She records an album and writes a show called Ondes Etourdies, which combines music, performance and poetry.
Over the years Karine Germaix has studied the accordeon in depth and worked on the instrument’s faults in order to give shape to a style of playing that is fine and sometimes very close to electronic sounds.

LUC EX – Acoustic Bass, HANNAH  MARSHALL- ‘Cello, VERYAN  WESTON – Piano, MARK SANDERS- Drums.
For this UK tour of new music, three of the most dynamic UK improvising instrumentalists are joined by the powerful Dutch   acoustic   bass   player,   Luc   Ex.   It’s   an unparalleled   opportunity   for   a   UK   audience   to   hear
propulsion,   rhythm,   colour   and   heartfelt   ensemble-playing.   All   the   musicians   are   leaders   in   their   field   and dedicated to the practice of freely improvised music at its most cohesive, explosive and sensitive. They use any means possible on their instruments to exploit extraordinary moments of clarity and beauty, being always in tune   with   the   present   moment.   The   music   reflects   influences   from   jazz,   punk,   improvisation, experimental classical music and song.

LEO WELCH
Leo “Bud” Welch Sr. was born in Sabougla, Mississippi in 1932. Bud picked up a guitar for the first time in 1945. Bud and a cousin would sneak and play the guitar while the actual owner of the guitar (Bud’s older cousin R.C. Welch) was away working. As he became confident in his ability to play guitar, Bud was caught red handed by the owner of the guitar, playing the forbidden to touch instrument. Bud’s older cousin was so impressed with his playing that he gave Bud free reign to continue playing the guitar. By 1947 at age 15, Bud could play well enough to perform publically and garnered the blessing of many elder guitar players. Bud was offered an audition by BB King but could not afford the trip to Memphis. Bud played the Blues continuously until 1975, at that time he converted to playing mostly Gospel, with the Sabougla Voices, which consisted of his sister and a sister-in-law. Bud also played with the Skuna Valley Male Chorus. Bud earned his living by carrying a chain saw up and down the hills and hollows of North Mississippi, logging for 35 years. Leo does not believe that Blues is the devil’s music but a way of expressing the highs and lows of one’s life through song. Bud had played his guitar for close family and friends for over 65 years and remained under the radar, undetected by the vast majority of Blues Aficionados, until April 19, 2013 after being secretly recorded performing at the 50th birthday of his now manger . Leo “Bud” Welch has taken the listening musical world by storm. Leo’s debut album “Sabougla Voices” was released January 7, 2014 just two months before his 82nd birthday and his sophomore album “I Don’t Prefer No Blues” was released on March 24, 2015 just two days after his 83rd birthday.

JANEK SCHAEFER
Artist, Musician & Composer Janek Schaefer was born in England to Polish and Canadian parents in 1970. While studying architecture at the Royal College of Art [RCA annual prize], he created ‘Recorded Delivery’ [1995] using a sound activated dictaphone travelling overnight through the Post Office. That work was made for the ‘Self Storage’ exhibition [Time Out critics choice] with one time postman Brian Eno and Artangel. Since then the multiple aspects of sound became his focus, resulting in many site-specific installations, exhibition/dance/short film soundtracks, albums and concerts using his self built record players with manipulated found sound collage. The ‘Tri-phonic Turntable’ [1997] is in the Guinness Book of Records. He has performed, lectured and exhibited widely throughout Europe [Sonar, Tate Modern, Pompidou, CCCB], USACanada, [The Walker, XI, Mutek, Princeton], Japan, and Australia [Sydney Opera House].

JASON VAN GULICK
Jason Van Gulick is one of the most inventive drummers on the contemporary music scene, he processes the sounds of his drum set in real time providing an explosive mixture of wild rhythms and abstract soundscapes. He has performed with Carla Bozulich/Evangelista, Stephen O’Malley (Sunn O)))), Chris Corsano, N.U. Unruh (Einstürzende Neubauten), Y.E.R.M.O. and the interdisciplinaryCollective, DEGA!

Thank you very much for reading.

I hope to hear from you as soon as possible.

All the best.

VON STROHEIM
Musically speaking, von Stroheim is somewhere in the galaxy of doom metal. However, rather than sticking strictly to the genre’s aesthetics, the band is following a course of its own. von Stroheim adds to doom’s relentlessness and heaviness a desire to make music that is evocative of cinematic atmospheres, borrowing elements from various styles: post‐metal, film scores, spoken word, kraut rock even… Therefore, one could describe von Stroheim as the missing link between Electric Wizard and Ennio Morricone. This has made von Stroheim comfortable enough to open for bands such as Jucifer or Martin Bisi (producer of The Dresden Dolls, Swans, Sonic Youth…).

SHIT AND SHINE
Shit and Shine (a.k.a. $hit & $hine, $&$, etc) is an ever changing line-up, frequently with numerous drummers, made up of various collaborators from the U.K. and Texas, revolving around the musical brainchild of drummer Craig Clouse. The noise and hard electronics of Shit & Shine was first heard in 2004 on the album « You’re Lucky to Have Friends Like Us ». Injecting his music with a sense of humor, as well as cheeky samples and numerous drummers, Clouse set himself apart from the usual run-of-the-mill noise and experimental acts around at the time.

PRAAG (France)
It’s the emotion of faded flowers, beauties and acoustic disorders that insidiously infiltrate the stage.
PRAAG is an arid sound  where the sensations of the Free-Rock has the luxury taste of flavor spirits. Four musicians, coming from the Improvisation, Noise, Free-Jazz and No-Wave territories. All from France, all from the far East.
Each set is a new one, no one knows where it will go, but surely with a lot of energy and desire. Each set start like it never stopped, just trying to reach the maximum of presence and deepness. No lies. Only here. Nothing to prove.

LYDIA LUNCH RETROVIRUS
n November 2012, Lydia Lunch toured select cities across North America with a monstrous unit dubbed RETROVIRUS, featuring guitarist Weasel Walter (The Flying Luttenbachers, etc.), bassist Algis Kizys (Swans, Foetus) and drummer Bob Bert (Sonic Youth, Pussy Galore, Chrome Cranks). The set consisted of a quasi-chronological display of musical raw power, ranging from material by Lydia’s classic units Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, 13.13, 8-Eyed Spy and Shotgun Wedding as well as touching on her solo debut “Queen of Siam” (ZE Records, 1980) and various other projects up to the present. The reception to these hour-long sets of bloodyminded sonic bullying was uniformly rapturous. To quote V. Vale, of RE-Search infamy: “That was the most intense show I’ve seen you do, Lydia.” Intense it was, and the smoldering intensity of that tour is trapped on this ripping new release. As one will hear on this album, RETROVIRUS is a well-oiled monolith of a unit: Scathing guitar shrapnel strafing ominously massive bass slabs, hurled forward by pulverizing drum thunder and topped by Lydia’s signature perma-scowl vocals. This is no county fair cover-band – RETROVIRUS is a totally modern take on the atrocities of the past and present, devoid of simpering nostalgia, bristling with a scoriatingly modern sheen of violence and momentum. Now is the time for people to get INFECTED.

MATILDE POLITI
Matilde Politi is actually considered the most representative female delegate of Sicilian Folkmusic. Her work in Sicilian Folk is aimed to recover traditional sounds and praxis, not to let them disappear from our “soundscape”, trying to regive birth to an expiring tradition. She creates new compositions, always linking Sicilian roots with Mediterranean ones, to map out the historical connections and influences, but mostly to draw in music the actual misture of cultures that is springing from the multi-ethnic Sicilian society

LUC EX/VERYAN WESTON/MARK SANDERS/HANNAH MARSHALL
LUC EX
After being a taxi-driver in Amsterdam he started his activities as musician (The Ex), making films (Mal Films) and was also one of the founders of the CD distribution and production company.
After he had left The Ex he could start and focus on several other projects or was invited to come and play.
VERYAN WESTON
Veryan Weston is a London pianist active in free improvisation, jazz and rock music. He has worked with Lol Coxhill, Eddie Prévost, Trevor Watts, Caroline Kraabel[1] and Phil Minton.
MARK SANDERS
Mark has played with many renowned musicians including Wadada Leo Smith, Derek Bailey, Henry Grimes, Roswell Rudd, Sylvie Courvoursier, Sirone, Peter Brotzmann, Barry Guy, Otomo Yoshihide, Jah Wobble, Harold Budd, Bill Laswell, Sidsel Endresen , Charles Gayle, Peter Evans and William Parker. With John Edwards, they work in a duo and with groups including Evan Parker, electro acoustic composer John Wall, `Foils` with Frank Paul Schubert and Matthius Muller and groups with Veryan Weston, John Tilbury, Agusti Fernandez and Mathew Shipp.
HANNAH MARSHALL
Hannah Marshall is a cellist who is continuing to extract and invent as many sounds and emotional qualities from her instrument as she can , playing experimental & freely improvised music and collaborating with other musicians

WACO JESUS/CLITEATER/A THREAT TO THE ENTRY/HELMSPLITTER/KROTCHRIPPER (USA/THE NETHERLANDS)
Waco Jesus is an American grindcore/brutal death metal band, founded 1994 in Illinois.
CLITEATER has everything that a good grindcore band ought to have »
A Threat To The Enemy in 2010. Make no mistake, these guys are no strangers to the music scene, and have the passion along with desire to bring a brutal sound as well as having a great time on stage.
Helmsplitter: Formed by Ross Mallie and Nate Boyd in 2008. 2011 saw the self-release
of the debut album « Storms of Genocide », followed by the 2014 release of « Enraptured by Suffering » via Horror Gore Pain Death Productions.
A group of ravenous debauched trolls, providing nothing short of
brutal music, comedy, and philosophy since 2009.

Thank you very much for reading.

All the best.
