MICHAEL CHAPMAN
The guitar and voice of Michael Chapman first became known on the Cornish Folk Circuit in 1967. Playing a blend of atmospheric and autobiographical material he established a reputation for intensity and innovation. Signed to EMI’s Harvest label he recorded a quartet of classic albums. LPs like ‘Rainmaker’ and ‘Wrecked Again’ defined the melancholic observer role Michael was to make his own, mixing intricate guitar instrumentals with a full band sound. The influential album ‘Fully Qualified Survivor’, featuring the guitar of Mick Ronson and Rick (Steeleye Span) Kemp’s bass, was John Peel’s favourite album of 1970. ‘Survivor’ featured the Chapman ‘hit’, « Postcards of Scarborough », a characteristically tenderly sour song recounting the feelings of nostalgia and regret.

REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER
When France’s REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER released its first record back in 2013, a self-titled LP, they immediately aroused huge expectations from both traditionnal metal fans and sludge/post-metal lovers, mixing a dark and oppressive doom approach with a strong mystic black metal legacy in an unique and deeply emotional way.
At the end of the same year, they already had reached the prestigious stages of Hellfest, Motocultor and Roadburn Festival, and quickly played club shows alongside with great figures of modern metal such as Enslaved, Kylesa, Yob, Napalm Death and Wolves In The Throne Room.
Their live shows, rares, played in the dark with a massive and sludgy sound are highly anticipated by a growing audience mesmerized by their mystic shows, drowned in despair and exalted by epic glacial epiphanies.
September 2015 saw the release of their second LP « Exile ». Both subtly assimilating its influences and distancing current post-black metal hype, REGARDE LES HOMMES TOMBER recorded a deeply personal album, massively metal and emotional in a dark, thrilling and transcendental way. They notably introduced the album to french audience sharing the stage with Amenra.

FRANçOIS CARRIER, JOHN EDWARDS, RAFAL MAZUR
Some could call it Improvised Music, but what these three musicians create together is Spontanious Melodic Abstract Music upon the roots of Free Jazz.
JOHN EDWARDS is a true virtuoso whose staggering range of techniques and boundless musical imagination have redefined the possibility of the double bass and dramatically expanded its role, whether playing solo or with others. Perpetually in demand, he has played with Evan Parker, Sunny Murray, Derek Bailey, Joe McPhee, Lol Coxhill, Peter Brötzmann, Mulatu Astatke and many others. In 2014 this Trio released « Underground to The Vortex » a widely acclaimed album on polish label Not Two Records.
RAFAL MAZUR plays acoustic bass guitar like no-one.  He has developed an advanced and individual approach to his instrument, and to improvisation in general, in which sonority, extended technique and gesture combine effortlessly in performance. He has taken an important role in Kraków to support young artists and improvised music. In recent years he has collaborated with François Carrier and Michel Lambert on an outstanding recording session titled UNKNOWABLE available on Not Two Records. 2 new albums of this trio will be out in 2016 on 2 important european labels.
As prolific as they come, CARRIER knows how to surround himself, find the most compatible partners, and maintain a recorded presence all over the world. His rich, deep playing that blends lyricism with boldness and a sense of surpassing one’s self has earned him the 13th spot on DownBeat’s 2013 Best Alto Sax Players Lis.

LEON CLAUS
Born in 1939.
Self-taught musician.
He played clarinet in various New Orleans bands.
In the 70s’, he devoted himself to saxophone and free jazz.
He played in sax/piano duo and performed several concerts in Belgium.
In 2010, he went for a six months trip to India to practice bansuri with various masters.
Currently he plays in Tansen trio: sitar – bansuri – bass.
He also works on saxophone solo and other instruments, sometimes of
his manufacture.

LAU NAU
Laura Naukkarinen, aka Lau Nau is one of the more interesting names in the Finnish music scene – a singer-songwriter, producer and film music composer. Her songs are imbued with a cinematic breadth of vision and her idiosyncratic, finely honed soundworld builds on fragile, spectral otherness. Her fourth album ”HEM. Någonstans” (Fonal records 2015) takes us to the fleeting borderline between contemporary classical and experimental music.

Thank you for reading.

Please get in touch with me if you would like to set up a gig for one of these musicians.

I hope to hear from you as soon a possible.

All the best.

Alain
