OVO
OvO has always been one of the most active bands in the worldwide noisy rock scene. They have been known pretty much everywhere through their 700 and more gigs, their large amount of releases, including albums, singles, collaborations, tracks on compilations, dvds, and for their original, unique music.

JOHN CHANTLER
John Chantler is a musician and organiser living in Stockholm, Sweden working with electronics, organs and acoustics. He draws on a domestic reimagining of the traditions of studio based electronic music/musique concrete and 20th century minimalism and delivers this with brash revitalized energy. ‘Which way to leave?’ is his latest LP for Lawrence English’s ROOM40 label and the self-reflexive sequencing that tracks the sub-harmonic series in the opening blast of ‘Falling Forward’ positions the record as Chantler’s most explicitly melodic while the record’s abrupt cuts, deft variations of density and unexpected diversions are happily explored with headlong dives into ravishing texture and extended stretches of surface stasis.

ALARIC
Alaric began their journey in 2008 with an eye toward creating a moody and compelling music of a sort not often performed in this day and age. A different concept of doom, if you will. Beginning with influences from such progenitors as Killing Joke and Christian Death to the darkest, heaviest punk bands and the most epic psychedelia, the band has dedicated itself to creating a shadowy electric guitar driven music that is truly their own. When they moved to document their songs on their first album, reviews were glowing. Zero Tolerance Magazine proclaimed, “Morbid, threatening and obsidian… Album of the Year by a long shot. » In a review of their split with Atriarch,  CVLT Nation wrote, “…one experiences an immersion in watery black textures as if drawn welcomingly into a drowning, slowly swirling, abyss.”

TWOMANTING
TwoManTing was formed in 2004 when Sierra Leonean drummer Jah-man Aggrey, and guitarist Jon Lewis were playing together as part of dance band, Le Cod Afrique, at venues such as Montreux Jazz Festival and WOMAD.
With clever use of loops and no small amount of enthusiastic musicality and inventiveness, they pitch their song choices just right in order to make the public smile and give them something to think about.

EDDY DETROIT
Where to start with Eddy Detroit? Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, it was there, in 1966, that he was in attendance for the first Iguanas gigs (Iggy Stooge’s first band). He joined the White Panther party in Detroit and was « there » for the pre-punk sounds of The Stooges and MC5 (« We all smoked dope on the state Capitol and got beat up by the cops »). In the early ’70s he traveled to London, where he stalked Marc Bolan and tried to seduce Tony Visconti’s then-girlfriend Mary Hopkin. It was with Ms. Hopkin, when he was dropping off a demo tape at the Apple store, that he witnessed the moment when Ringo found out that The Beatles had broken up! (We’ve got the pictures to prove it!) In the mid-’70s, Detroit settled in Hollywood and started The Terminal Wave Band (bongo/synth/punk) which was the soundtrack to the hippy/biker/S&M/satanic/polyamorous scene that Detroit ruled in dingy, underground LA — that’s when he wasn’t trying to seduce Nico (The Velvet Underground) to become one of his muses and lovers (« True story bub »). When rents in LA got too much for an acid-fried biker/S&M/punk, Eddy moved to Phoenix, AZ, and was seminal in fostering one of the most interesting underground musical scenes of the early ’80s. He was an unofficial member of the Sun City Girls, toured with the Meat Puppets and Mighty Sphincter, and was the pith-helmeted shaman-in-residence at his club The Grotto!
