Dear promoters,

Please find here a list of artists who will be touring soon.

Feel free to contact me if you want to set up a concert for one of them.

HASSAN K (Iran)

Availability: On request
Territory: Europe + UK
Hassan K is a mystical one man band from Persia. DIY artist, Keyvane (his real name) mixes folklore and technologies, occident and orient, surf music and bellydance, swing and heavy metal… in crazy live acts, not too far from transe. With a guitar, a keyboard and a few sensors, he travels from the west kingdom to the Turan, spreading the words of his illuminated ancestors…

NOCHEXXX (UK)
https://nochexxx.bandcamp.com/
Availability: On request in 2019
Territory: Europe
Steadfast at the fringes and fronds of UK electronica since the late ’90s, Dave Henson a.k.a. NOCHEXXX has previously done the do for Ramp Recordings, Actress’ Werk Discs, Type and Alien Jams over the last few years, forging a sort of eldritch, radiophonic cyberpunk that frankly sound like f**k-all out there. OK there are plenty of artists working with cranky, heatsick synth and drum machines right now, but few others do it with such an unhinged grasp of groove and feel for intricate sequence derangement. It’s a fever dream of clattering yet deft machine funk, serving saltiest styles running the gamut from Drexciyan tics to the apocalyptic Shangaan Disco deviation, thru to combustible garden shed techno experiments and rudeboy salutes. Expect a dubplates set on the night with visuals from Plastic Horse.

THE WAVE PICTURES (UK)

Availability: Before and after 8th December
Territories: France, Belgium, The Netherlands
Twenty years after forming in Wymeswold, Leicestershire as teenagers, The Wave Pictures have gone on to be one of the UK’s most prolific and beloved bands. Fond of classic rock, jazz and blues, they are also one of the most accomplished, with Tattersall’s guitar solos becoming the stuff of legend. They have collaborated with varying bright stars of the musical firmament, such as last year’s rock’n’roll surf-garage-rock project with Charles Watson from Slow Club, as new band The Surfing Magazines, or their ongoing partnership with ex-Herman Dune member Stanley Brinks, or the very close partnership with Billy Childish for 2015’s Great Big Flamingo Burning Moon.

WREKMEISTER HARMONIES (USA) + FVNERALS (Belgium)

Availability: 1st and 2nd February 2019
Territory: Belgium
Wrekmeister Harmonies’ new album, The Alone Rush, their first as the core duo of JR Robinson and Esther Shaw, is a hauntingly intense and dark meditation on death and isolation, whose concise compositions carry an emotional heft without the orchestrated bombast of their previous four albums.
FVNERALS is a band currently based in Brussels, mixing elements of doom, post-rock, shoegaze and dark ambient.

DUOT & ANDY MOOR (Spain/UK

Availability: To be announced
Territory: Belgium
The music contained in Food is stunningly sincere. Cirera, Prats, and Moor speak the same language, their own, which is not that of Duot with a guest, but that of a trio. Though newly born, they express themselves as a singular force that, between them, brings decades of experience. Something seductive and magnificent has been captured here, and Duot now feels the overwhelming need to share it on those same terms.

Thank you for reading.

Regards.

Alain

IFRIQIYYA ELECTRIQUE (France/Tunisia)

Availability: Between 29th April and 8th May 2019
Territory: Belgium

Afro-Tunisian ritual trance meets nomadic Western post-industrial punk. Convulsed children’s bodies, their faces turned towards the sky and their eyes rolling back, people chanting until exhaustion, their feet beating the ground… Loud percussions, sometimes slow, sometimes frantic… The electric guitar then enters, with heavy saturation that evokes extreme feelings of pain or pleasure, then the bass guitar that hits the gut. Spirits of Black Africa meet those of Maghreb and Occident.
DEREK PIOTR (Poland)

Availability: On request
Territory: Europe + UK

Derek Piotr (b. 1991) is a Poland-born producer and composer based in New England, whose work focuses primarily on the voice. His work covers genres as diverse as glitch, leftfield pop, chamber, dance, and drone; and he has collaborated with artists including Richard Chartier, Don’t DJ, and Thomas Brinkmann across various disciplines. He has been intern to Meredith Monk, had his work nominated by the jury for Prix Ars Electronica (2012), and featured on Resonance FM and BBC.
LABELLE (Reunion island)

Availability: March 2019
Territory/ Europe + UK

Labelle hails from Saint-Denis de la Réunion, His home is at the top of an apartment block in the centre of the island’s capital. It’s a belvedere overlooking the rich and extravagant cultural crossroads of Saint-Denis de la Reunion, a laboratory of Creolism and musical blending, where he composes his music on hi-tech machines, sketching out celestial electronic symphonies whilst cultivating a deep connection with the soil.
His sophomore album is entitled univers-île and features a dreamy, hypnotic collection of new studio recordings that span electronica, new age zither jams and off-kilter syncopated percussion with occasional ambient and techno influences.

I hope to hear from you as soon as possible.

All the best.

Dear promoters,

Please find here under some artists who will be touring soon.

Feel free to conctact me if you want to set uo a gig/concert for one of them.

RATKA (BRASIL)
https://rakta.bandcamp.com/ [1]
Availability: 25th November
Territory: Belgium
Straight from the depths of São Paulo, Brazil, Rakta is a band too wild to be caged inside familiar rock labels. In fact, very little is
familiar, or comfortable in Rakta’s music and general stance. On the road since 2012, the group, formed only by women, had as an initial
inspiration the musical freedom and policy of the 70s/80s anarchist and post-punk scene, especially towards the « antiphilosophies » from the
British collective Crass.

TAHIR PALALI (Turkey)

Availability: On request. Week ends only
Territory; Europe
Tahir plays the Anatolian three stringed instrument Tembur/ Dede Sazi from eastern Turkey which originates from the Iranian sacred instrument Tanbour. He is accompanied by frame drums performed by Cigdem. Both musicians have been brought up with the strong Alevi musical tradition of Turkey where playing the tembur and singing is considered ‘The sound of Truth/God’.
Deep rooted songs of love and mysticism from 14th-20th century Alevi poets of Anatolia performed with ancient instruments and authentic voices by Cigdem Aslan and Tahir Palali.

BLACK LUNG (USA)

Availability: Between 27th March and 24th April
Territory: Belgium
In the deadly cold winter of 2014, Black Lung emerged from the underbelly of Baltimore with unprecedented amounts of volume. A union of Adam Bufano, Elias Mays Schutzman (of The Flying Eyes) and multi-instrumentalist Dave Cavalier, the trio toes the line between sonic pain and melodic bliss

MZE SHINA (France)

Availability: On request
Territory: Europe + UK
The MZE SHINA Ensemble has been exploring Georgian folk harmonies of the Caucuses region since 1996. The group draws its inspiration from the heart of an ancestral tradition where polyphonic singing holds a central place in daily life. Their concert seeks to render a poetic image of Georgia beyond the language barrier and share a moment with the public, sung, spoken, felt. Georgian polyphony is still relatively unknown outside of Georgia in spite of its sophistication and power, there are songs that accompany virtually every activity of daily life : work songs, wedding songs, healing songs and table songs as well as a vast collection of religious chants. The repertoire of Georgian songs was proclaimed one of the first Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2001. The only professional ensemble in Europe dedicated to Georgian folk music, MZE SHINA sings a cappella or accompanies themselves with traditional instruments ; the panduri and chonguri (lutes with 3 and 4 strings), the changi (harp) and the chuniri (small bowed instrument with 3 strings). Two of the founding members of MZE SHINA teach Georgian harmonies for beginner levels as well as masterclasses.

Thanks for reading.

I hope to hear from you asap.

All the best.
