Dear promoters,
Please find here a list of artists who will be touring soon.
Feel free to contact me if you want to set up a concert for one of them.
HASSAN K (Iran)
Availability: On request
Territory: Europe + UK
Hassan K is a mystical one man band from Persia. DIY artist, Keyvane (his real name) mixes folklore and technologies, occident and orient, surf music and bellydance, swing and heavy metal… in crazy live acts, not too far from transe. With a guitar, a keyboard and a few sensors, he travels from the west kingdom to the Turan, spreading the words of his illuminated ancestors…
NOCHEXXX (UK)
https://nochexxx.bandcamp.com/
Availability: On request in 2019
Territory: Europe
Steadfast at the fringes and fronds of UK electronica since the late ’90s, Dave Henson a.k.a. NOCHEXXX has previously done the do for Ramp Recordings, Actress’ Werk Discs, Type and Alien Jams over the last few years, forging a sort of eldritch, radiophonic cyberpunk that frankly sound like f**k-all out there. OK there are plenty of artists working with cranky, heatsick synth and drum machines right now, but few others do it with such an unhinged grasp of groove and feel for intricate sequence derangement. It’s a fever dream of clattering yet deft machine funk, serving saltiest styles running the gamut from Drexciyan tics to the apocalyptic Shangaan Disco deviation, thru to combustible garden shed techno experiments and rudeboy salutes. Expect a dubplates set on the night with visuals from Plastic Horse.
THE WAVE PICTURES (UK)
Availability: Before and after 8th December
Territories: France, Belgium, The Netherlands
Twenty years after forming in Wymeswold, Leicestershire as teenagers, The Wave Pictures have gone on to be one of the UK’s most prolific and beloved bands. Fond of classic rock, jazz and blues, they are also one of the most accomplished, with Tattersall’s guitar solos becoming the stuff of legend. They have collaborated with varying bright stars of the musical firmament, such as last year’s rock’n’roll surf-garage-rock project with Charles Watson from Slow Club, as new band The Surfing Magazines, or their ongoing partnership with ex-Herman Dune member Stanley Brinks, or the very close partnership with Billy Childish for 2015’s Great Big Flamingo Burning Moon.
WREKMEISTER HARMONIES (USA) + FVNERALS (Belgium)
Availability: 1st and 2nd February 2019
Territory: Belgium
Wrekmeister Harmonies’ new album, The Alone Rush, their first as the core duo of JR Robinson and Esther Shaw, is a hauntingly intense and dark meditation on death and isolation, whose concise compositions carry an emotional heft without the orchestrated bombast of their previous four albums.
FVNERALS is a band currently based in Brussels, mixing elements of doom, post-rock, shoegaze and dark ambient.
DUOT & ANDY MOOR (Spain/UK
Availability: To be announced
Territory: Belgium
The music contained in Food is stunningly sincere. Cirera, Prats, and Moor speak the same language, their own, which is not that of Duot with a guest, but that of a trio. Though newly born, they express themselves as a singular force that, between them, brings decades of experience. Something seductive and magnificent has been captured here, and Duot now feels the overwhelming need to share it on those same terms.
Thank you for reading.
Regards.
