JAEHO HWANG [Korea]https://chinabot.bandcamp.com/album/inner-selfAvailability: On request Territory: Europe + UKJaeho Hwang is a London/Seoul-based DJ, producer, and visual artist who recontextualises traditional Korean instrumentation and brings it into the contemporary club music scene. After releasing his first EP on Chinabot in 2019, he has been featured in DJ Mag, BBC Radio 6 Music, Boiler Room, XLR8R, and Mixmag Korea. Now based primarily in Seoul, he is involved with Seoul Community Radio and Nek-O Future Club.T. GOWDY [Canada]https://tgowdy.bandcamp.com/album/miraclesAvailability: On request Territories: Europe + UKSince releasing Therapy With Colour in 2020, Montreal-based producer and sound artist T. Gowdy has embarked on a number of audiovisual ventures. Unrestrained by lockdown, he thrived in virtual spaces, deploying kaleidoscopic glitching visuals for screens worldwide. Two years later, he returns to Constellation with Miracles, his second album for the label which regurgitates his past performance material into a labyrinthine work that looks to the future. Based on an unreleased audiovisual performance from 2018 that focussed on surveillance footage, Miracles explores themes of memory and transformation of raw material with a vast, honeycomb-like structure. The tracks play out less like a linear musical narrative and more like moments trapped in time, skipping tapes and looping security recordings captured by a haywire CCTV system, creating musical feedback in the control room. This manifests not only in the tense subterranean rumbling and harsh, sandpaper-textured noise of the opening ‘350J’, but also in the constant chimeral shifting of subtle ambient explorations found throughout the album.PHELIMUNCASI (South Africa)https://nyegenyegetapes.bandcamp.com/album/phelimuncasi-2013-2019Availability: October-November Europe + UKPhelimuncasi formed in 2012 in the Mlaszi township of Durban South Africa as a trio of Gqom vocalists comprised of twins Makan Nana and Khera and Malathon. Their music is definitely enchanting and potent, richly imbued with an immense storytelling tradition that harks back to southern African toyi-toyi: a powerful dance of protest and struggle accompanied by rhythmic singing that was used during anti-apartheid demonstration to intimidate police and security forces. No surprise that Phelimuncasi have been calling to perform at many political functions for the African National Congress and South African left wing Pan Africanist party EFF (Economic Freedom Fighter).DAISY DARKPARK (Belgium)https://daisydarkpark.bandcamp.com/Availability: On request Territory: Europe + UKDaisy Darkpark is the music-producing second-self of Belgian multimedia experimentalist Femke Fredrix, currently hiding out in Brussels. Her sonic world is inspired by her love for dance, cabaret, dub and industrial noise.KATE BIRCH (Germany)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxm1rPG3DoMAvailability: 16th-19th October 2022 Territories: FranceLaura Schuler aka Kate Birch – Vocals, Synths, Violin, Samples Clemens Kuratle – Drums, Synths, Vocals, SamplesFacing the world naked, without the emotional burden of patterns which we have outgrown. Moving beyond the ego to embrace unconditional love. These aspirations comprise the heart of Kate Birch’s new album The Fool which was released in April 2022 by the label Red Brick Chapel. Laura Schuler plays the violin since many years and made a name for herself in the international jazz – and creative music scene (trio Esche and her quartet amongst others). Trough the alter ego Kate Birch she develops her language further in the direction of Artpop and Indietronica. During a longer stay in New York the project got its spirit and initial push. In the city she started the process of songwriting and studio production. She still returns to New York on a regular base to play and to fill up her mind and heart with experiences of the metropole live, which flow back into her music. After numerous solo shows (CH, DE, SWE, DK) before the pandemic, Kate Birch got company by drummer and multi instrumentalist Clemens Kuratle. The musician from Cologne contributes his talent and knowledge to the music. Together they sound bigger as a duo. |

A highly beautiful experience, Brothers’n’sisters’. Julian Cope’s Head
Heritage.
Niton was formed in 2013 on the Italian-Swiss border. Starting from
freely improvisational attitudes, the trio has moved into various
expressive contexts (minimal, experimental or industrial music – for
theatre, dance, cinema and installations) while maintaining their
instrumentation as a unifying feature: Luca Xelius Martegani’s analogue
synthesisers, El Toxyque’s amplified objects, Zeno Gabaglio’s electric
cello. Documenting this path are two albums on the Pulver und Asche
Records label, one by Floating Forest Records and various participations
in compilations, such as the Guide to Swiss Underground Experimental
Music by Buh Records/The Wire.

manufacturer ‘NMR’. He is also a co-founder of the downtown Cairo
independent art space, Hizz and its affiliate cassette label. Through
the years and incessantly, Youssef has not stopped refining his own
