Territory: EuropeInfinite Livez (born 1972 in Bethnal Green, East London) is an MC and
musician who studied at Chelsea Art College. His wide range of
influences comes from such diverse sources as P-Funk, Surrealism and
continental philosophy. His first album Bush Meat was released on Big
Dada Records in 2004 to immediate critical acclaim in the UK and abroad.
2007 saw the release of his second album Art Brut fe de Yoot, also on
Big Dada, and a collaborative project with the Swiss electro-jazz
outfit, Stade. Recorded over a series of improvised sessions, it has
been recognized as a unique achievement in both experimental hip-hop and
wacky humor. The follow-up album to Art Brut fe de Yoot, entitled Morgan
Freeman’s Psychedelic Semen, was released in 2008. At the beginning of
2009, the live album Live at La Guinguette, again recorded with Stade
and guest vocalist Joy Frempong, came out of a residency in Geneva.
Infinite Livez has performed in the UK and all over Europe, including
events such as Montreux Jazz, the North Sea Jazz Festival and The Sonar
Festival. Besides Stade and Joy Frempong, Infinite has worked with a
wide range of other producers and musicians including David Murray,
Jahcoozi, Nils Petter Molvar, Elliott Sharp and Kid Acne. He has
supported artists such as Kool Keith, Anti Pop Consortium, MF Doom and
Mulatu Astatke. As a visual artist, Infinite Livez has also worked on a
variety of other projects, like making comic books, animations, prints
and illustrations (for magazines such as Hip Hop Connection and The
Wire). In July 2009, Infinite had his first solo exhibition, Salvador
Dali Was Half Bengali at Pebbledash Gallery in London where he presented
a series of madly surrealist silkscreens referencing the aesthetics of
old-school comics, Japanese woodcuts and Hans Bellmer. In September

Archipelago Art, Sheffield. Recently, Infinite launched Glorious Mono,
his own weekly 1 hour radio show on Herbstradio 99.1 FM in Berlin.ROXANE METAYER (France)https://roxanemetayer.bandcamp.com/album/live-ateliers-clausAvailability: 2022

BOOKING OFFERS

Booking offers (2021 #40) Dear all, Here is my weekly newsletter. I’m bookng dates for the musicians/bands here under. Please contact me if you want to set up a concert/performance for one of them.
JEROME [Italy-Greece-Switerland] https://mapledeath.lnk.to/JeromeLP2 Availability: April 2022
Territory: Belgium Formed in London in 2019, the Italian/Swedish/Greek duo of Annalisa
Iembo and Stella Mathioudakis has been slowly perfecting their raw soul
freeing music in opposition to their classically trained backgrounds.
The improvisational escape of their acclaimed debut ‘Moods’ has morphed
into a pulsating industrial beast, a sub heavy cascade of noir jelly.
‘LP2’ was recorded over a period of 5 days locked in a small room in the
Italian flatlands and then further developed and refined between
Italy-Sweden during the pandemic. It’s like if the techno remnants of
early Downwards Records and Regis/Surgeon collaborations have been
gracefully destroyed into a fluid rhythmical rural dreamland, where joy
and rays of light are allowed to timidly peak in. No better song could
encapsulate Jerome’s spirit than album opener ‘2050’, a steady deep
ecstatic low thud dictating the premises over metallic reeds gently
strummed by the wind and Stella’s commanding haikus generating human
empathy. ‘Push Me Harder’ is and EBM induced anthem featuring James Cox
of London heavy-punks Crows on vocals, a cagey propulsive club trotter
that transitions into the psychedelic with ‘Humans – Sta Oneira’, the
eerie calming blissful piano finale cleansing any previous alien
instability. ‘Life’s Eye’, the album centerpiece revolves around a
concentric beat, a tribal LFO stinger followed by kickdrum raver ‘DRBS’
a parallel party where the better parts of Kraftwerkian Detroit techno
are sped up and spit out with shards of noise and cowbell action. Owen
Pratt from London’s industrial Uncanny Valley sings on ‘Gargoyle’, a
slow-trance smoker that beautifully segues into ‘Leela’ a stunning
reminder of how Jerome’s music unites body, movement and warmth while
punctuating and exploring synthesized realities & club culture, an
organic reaction to overcoming pain (Is Space Is Time) through growth,
liberation and heart. VON STROHEIM (UK-Belgium] https://vonstroheim.bandcamp.com/
https://youtu.be/WSvgKbXPTYQ Availability: November 2021 – First half of 2022
Territories: Europe + UK Von Stroheim is a doom blues trio fronted by a female singer with a
haunted voice. The lyrics are inspired by film noir from the 40’s and
50’s. The trio’s elegant post-metal compositions are enriched with film
samples, as well as synths and theremin which give their work a truly
cinematographic feel. The Beautiful, Not the Damned – the trio’s 3rd
offering – was released in September 2021. The trio has been described
as ‘Patti Smith meets Swans’ and ‘Neurosis featuring Jarboe’. Founding
members Raphaël Rastelli and Dominique Van Cappellen-Waldock have
collaborated with the following artist: Eugene S. Robinson (Oxbow), Eve
Libertine & Penny Rimbaud (Crass), Dana Schechter (Insect Ark, Swans)
among others. BUDOKAN BOYS [USA] https://shapeplatform.eu/category/listen/ Availability: From mid January 2022 onwards
Territories: Europe + UK Budokan Boys—composer Jeff T Byrd and fiction writer Michael Jeffrey
Lee—are a mercurial American duo currently based in Berlin. Iterations
of the ever-evolving project have included a psychotic vaudeville phase
(2018’s That’s How You Become A Clown), a wry and mischievous prankster
phase (2019’s DAD IS BAD), and a mystical grief and trauma phase, as
heard on 2020’s horrific and heartfelt So Broken Up About You Dying.
They are now busy writing their next opus, a space opera. ROSE BOLTON [Canada] https://cassauna.bandcamp.com/album/the-lost-clock Availability: 2022
Territory: Europe + uk As a performer, she variously employs electronics, violin, and viola.
Parallel to her engagement with exploratory approaches, she’s
invested in the fiddle traditions of the British Isles, and various
Canadian regions. She teaches this repertoire at the Royal Conservatory
of Music. Bolton has also performed with Rhys Chatham, Owen Pallett, opened
for Charlemagne Palestine, and appears on recordings by
the likes of Chatham and Aidan Baker. In 1999 she joined the Canadian
Electronic Ensemble, whose fifty-years together make them
the world’s longest-running live-electronic music group. In February
2020, the CEE held a residency and provided guest lectures at
Carnegie Mellon University’s music department. Bolton has also led
workshops at the Banff Centre, also founded the SOCAN/ Moog
Audio-sponsored program EQ: Women in Electronic Music, which worked to
foster community and mentorship among (trans/cis)
women and non-binary individuals. LEANDRO BARZABAL [Argentina] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHb-YghgWI8 Availability: On request
Territory: Europe + UK Leandro Barzabal. 1981. Argentina. Active in the experimental music and
performance scene in Argentina since the turn of the century. His
approach to musical composition is the total free and physical
improvisation, or the electroacoustic studio composition, mostly with
diy electronics. Since 2018 he lives in Paris, France. As an improviser
he crossed paths on stage or studio with musicians like Maria Chavez,
Lasse Marhaug, Dror Freiler, Xavier Charles, Anla Courtis, Zbigniew

Omi, 2006 (Ghent, USA), Instants Chavirés, 2020 (Montreuil, France) et
Het Resort, 2020 (Groningen, Netherlands).
His physical approach to performance led him to collaborate in plays of
contemporary dance and theater with choreographers such as Luis Garay,
Osías Yanov et Natalia Tencer.
HIs newest set centers around an instrument constructed by himself
composed of 42 oscillators.
I hope to hear from you asap.

All the best. Alain

ARASH AKBARI [Iran]https://karlrecords.bandcamp.com/album/fragments-of-yearningAvailability: February 2022
Territories: Europe + UKArash Akbari is a transdisciplinary artist, based in Tehran, Iran. His
interest in dynamic art systems, human perception, nonlinear narrative,
and the co-existence between physical and digital worlds compelled him
to explore the fields of generative systems, interaction design, and
real-time processing. He examines the ways interactive cybernetic
systems and their emergent behaviors can evoke concepts, ideas and
questions as well as social and emotional responses and impacts. Akbari
directs his experimental practices into audio-visual performances and
installations, interactive applications, and multisensory experiences.
His compositions investigate experimental approaches to sound
generation, field recordings, acoustic instrumentation, digital
synthesis, DSP, and noise to create immersive sonic environments that
explore the agency of autonomous systems, indeterminacy, memory, and the
perception of time and space.
His work has been presented in different festivals and exhibitions
around the world, such as Athens Digital Arts Festival, Recto VRso
Festival, Mutek Forum, Simultan Festival, New Media Fest, 3D Web Fest,

Territories: Europe + UKThe Gall is the debut EP from Brooklyn producer and vocalist Dahjyn,
featuring additional remixes by Endgame, Thegn, and trngs. With
relentless industrial gut-punch percussion, textural power electronics,
and reflective baritone verse, these 5 tracks embody a convulsive
tension between an abrasive physicality and a brooding emotionality: a
visceral incantation working through.LOUIS LAURAIN (France)https://insub.bandcamp.com/album/pulses-pipes-patternsAvailability: On request
Territories: Europe + UKLouis Laurain (1984) is a trumpet player, living in Paris. his work
lies at the borders of experimental music, electro-acoustics, Jazz,
traditional music, visual and performative arts. While developing an
original language on his instrument, he seeks, threw solo or

Territories: Europe + UKFrom a secluded outpost on Nova Scotia’s mystical South Shore,
junked-analog project JOYFULTALK conjures micro-climate trance music.
The brainchild of instrument builder and alchemist Jay Crocker,
JOYFULTALK offers up instrumental compositions of analogue tongue that
flow like wordless rivers and glitching fields of electric grass through
a bric-a-brac vocabulary of handmade electronics. Crocker’s music
channels a sonic regionalism influenced by the craggy treelines and
flowing rivers of Lunenburg county, with gnarled jamscapes rendering
natural spaces in a hazy parallel universe, navigating the astral plane
by way of his rugged maritime environs; tinkered lightfields of forward
motion in a maniac’s grove.IAN SIEGAL (UK)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO4M-WzZbQUAvailability: April-May 2022
Territory: FranceBorn in the deep south (of England!) in 1971, Ian’s earliest musical
memories are of the likes of Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis and
Chuck Berry, but it was on hearing the great Little Richard that he
really caught the music bug and became nothing short of obsessive about
it. This lead him into a life-long passion for the Blues and all of its
various branches, and most of all, the man he calls « God » – the
inimitable Muddy Waters.
Thanks for reading.I hope to hear from you soon. All the best.Alain

Booking offers (2021 #38) Dear all, Please find here under some bands and artists who will soon touring. I am booking concerts/performances for them. Feel free to contact me if you want to set up a concert/performance for one of them.
SHIT AND SHINE (USA) https://shitandshine.bandcamp.com/ Availability: February 2022
Territory: Europe + UK Bubbling up from his post-everything cesspit, $hit & $hine cups another
killer album boff to the grill of Diagonal with Total $hit!, his 2nd LP
and 3rd full release for Powell and Jaime Williams’ indomitable imprint.
A rancid ruck of rock ‘n roll and industrial entrails squeezed for
sustenance and sploshed with classic ’80s disco, Total $hit! is nothing
if not a definitive Craig Clouse record; insistently playful, scatty and
demented in equal measures, but with a couldn’t care less attitude
that’s always refreshing and welcome around these parts. RENATO GRIECO (Italy) https://mdts.bandcamp.com/album/bin-biden-song Availability: On request
Territories: Europe + UK I’m a composer and sound enthusiast based in Naples, south Italy.
Nowadays I’m involved in several sound activities which finds me working
on topics such as listening, archiving, questioning space trough
producing and recording sounds.
Since 2012 I’ve been training myself to master repetitive movements both
feeble or very projective and I spent a lot of time designing tools or
spaces for listening, speaking inside objects, listening through
objects, all of this with a critical attitude regarding sound ecology.
I just try to not place myself in the border between scientific nor
theoretical thoughts. I assume listening as a proper cognitive tool
itself, which affect intellect and body with its own semantics, humor
and tragic nature. BLECTUM FROM BLECHDOM (USA) https://deathbombarc.bandcamp.com/album/deepbone Availability: Late June 2022
Territories: Europe + UK Electronic/Computer Music super-duo Blectum from Blechdom (Blevin
Blectum = Bevin Kelley, Kevin Blechdom = Kristin Erickson) go way beyond
where any enfolded fractal has ever gone, deep into the deepest bone,
with their newly released album DEEP BONE out on Deathbomb Arc (Los
Angeles, US). Together forever since 1998, they have released music on
Tigerbeat6, Phthalo, Orthlorng, and Deluxe Records (Berkeley California,
US), and separately as Kevin Blechdom or Blevin Blechdom. FRESCHARD (France) + STANLEY BRINKS (France) https://freschard.bandcamp.com/
https://stanleybrinks.bandcamp.com/ Availability: First half of February 2022
Territory: Europe Stanley Brinks began performing officially as André Herman Düne in 1999,
sharing lead vocals, guitar playing and songwriting with his brother
David in the band Herman Düne for a number of years. They released
several albums and toured extensively in UK, gaining and owing a lot to
great support from John Peel. He has used many monikers for various
side-projects, but since leaving Herman Düne in 2006, he has been known
solely as Stanley Brinks. Born in Paris, Stan has been living between
New York, San Francisco, Malta and Berlin for about a decade, always on
the move. He has recorded more than 100 albums, collaborated with the
New York Antifolk scene on several occasions, recorded and toured with
traditional Norwegian musicians, and played a lot with The Wave
Pictures.
Freschard grew up in a farm in French Burgundy. Aged 18 she moved to
Paris, where she baked pies and cakes in a cafe. There, a local musician
and regular customer called Stanley Brinks wrote a few songs for her to
sing. Homeless in Paris, she saved up just enough money to get herself a
ticket to New York. There she found an old electric guitar and started
writing her own songs. In 2004 she moved to Berlin, where she recorded
her first LP, « Alien Duck ». Her second album, « Click Click »,
recorded in 2006, features electric guitar by Stanley Brinks. On her
third album, she plays the drums herself. On her fourth « Shh… » she also
plays the flute. For this year’s « Boom Biddy Boom » she also plays the
washboard. GERT-JAN PRINS [The Netherlands] + LUKAS SIMONIS [The Netherlands] https://z6records.bandcamp.com/track/mothers-of-exit Availability: On request
Territories: Europe + UK Gert-Jan Prins and Lukas Simonis are two experienced and well-known
improvisational musicians. For their first collaboration they created
some harsh and dissonant productions, run through with noisy insertions,
whistles and weird effects, and a whole bunch of sounds made by guitars,
modular synthesizers, microphones and drums used in a visceral and
impressive way. Both the musicians demonstrate their background of
specialist knowledge: Prins is at ease with the most rhythmical parts,
with microphones and different effects. Simonist plays the guitar, the
synth and the blippo box, an electronic generator of sounds, which acts
according to the principles of chaos theory. Stylistically, the duo
works on the edge between jazz and noise rock, with heavy use of
established improvisational techniques. For example, this includes
dichotomies (empty – full, rhythm – melody, repetition – difference,
inside – outside), the tonicization or substitution of chords, and the
alternation of instrumental interventions using specific forms of
rhythmic addition and subtraction. In Mothers Of Exit the sounds are
always events and the patterns and textures of the tracks presented
offer continuous mutations, changes of atmosphere and energy levels,
remaining substantially noisy but never conventional. The two eclectic
performers also get back to their own instruments, the drums for Prins
and the guitar for Simonis. At the same time, many other elements are
very strong and present all over the work. The improvisational
phraseological coherence of the duo is unquestionable. Although some
elements might seem quite « minimal », the whole set is not bare and shows
an accentuated complexity. « Complexity is what is woven together », Edgar
Morin said, and here we can find multiple elements that together make a
very vivid, sharp and enjoyable final result.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
All the best. Alain
