MIMICOF [Japan]https://karlrecords.bandcamp.com/album/distant-symphonyAvailability: On request
Territory: BelgiumMimiCof is the other solo project of Midori Hirano, in which she
explores the realm of experimental music and detailed rhythmic patterns,
combined with an idea of drawing melodic shapes and harmonies.RAINING SPIDERLINGS (Mexico/UK)https://soundcloud.com/nikolaigalen/sets/galen-almond-superstitionAvailability: Early March 2023 + May-June 2023
Territories: Europe + UKRaining Spiderlings is Sarmen Almond and Nikolai Galen’s duo project.
Almond is a singer, musician and composer living in Mexico City. Galen
is a singer, actor and writer living in Istanbul. The project includes
voice and electronics and, sometimes, instruments. Sometimes we work
with words, sometimes without. For our first album, Superstition, Galen
wrote fourteen texts around a loose theme of superstition, and recorded
them as spoken poems. There are poetical rhythms but no strict, musical
rhythms. Almond freely reworked the recordings electronically, and that
gave us the album. The name Superstition lifted, so to speak, from
Panthéâtre’s Myth & Festival of the same name in 2021.NATALIE BERIDZE (Georgia)https://room40.bandcamp.com/album/in-front-of-youAvailability: On request

Territories: Europe + UKHis style is considered unique and different. On his debut he was forced
to use his headphone cans as a makeshift microphone, and used sounds
from old analogue equipment and found sounds which were recorded and
then looped. His style is often about weed intake or sci-fi based
themes. He is known more for his often eclectic collaboration work,
having played with the likes of Cardopusher, Kid 606, Handsome Boy
Modeling School, DJ Scotch Bonnet, Kouhei Matsunaga, and Spectre. Often
quite prolific, but known for brief spells of homelessness, it is not
known how much of Sensational’s discography there actually is, as he can
often be found selling his music on the streets of New York.ROK ZALOKAR (Slovenia)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXgTLCbpxzMAvailability: 15th-31st March 2023
Territories: Europe + UKRok Zalokar ( pianist, composer & producer) is an integral part of the
Ljubljana alt-jazz scene. His artistic journey & vision encompasses many
shapes and forms of musical expressions, solo & group explorations and
highly personal electronic & acoustic blend. With elements like
minimalist layers of shifting patterns, jazz-impressionist harmonies,
surrealist sonic image and ouroboros loops, he weaves his musical
narrative that strives to free itself from the duality of past & future.
I hope to hear from you soon.

All the best.

Booking offers (2022 #29)Dear all,Please find here under some musicians/bands who will be soon touring for live concerts/performances.

I am booking dates for them.

Please feel free to contact me if you want to set up a concert/performance for one of them.
PAOLO GAIBA RIVA (Italy)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYvuejhRzzsAvailability: 21st-27th November 2022
Territories: France + BelgiumSince 2012 I’ve found necessary to dig deeply into the rawer, more
sincere and without compromise parts of what people call « (non)music ».
Researching the clash, the dynamic and the static state of the sounds
which please me.
I don’t want to show or transmit anything in particular, anyone gets his
own conclusion (that’s a very interesting part, in my opinion).
The aim is to wake up the listeners’ awareness and focus on the moment.
Moreover, this is for me a way to cope with this mad world.ALISSON COTTON (UK)https://alisoncotton-uk.bandcamp.com/Availabilities: 7th-9th October 2022
Territory: The Netherlands + BelgiumAlison Cotton is a viola player / vocalist based in London. Her most
recent album of 2020, Only Darkness Now, released on Bloxham Tapes and
Cardinal Fuzz (UK) and Feeding Tube Records (USA) won critical acclaim,
receiving 5 star reviews and reaching number 11 in The Quietus Albums of
the Year, number 1 in the Quietus’ New Weird Britain chart, as well as
being mentioned in Stewart Lee’s Cultural Year.
As well as the viola, she uses an array of other instruments (her voice,
harmonium, percussion, recorder, omnichord, shruti box and piano to name
a few) to create long, haunting folk drones.
Many of her pieces are created for, and named after spaces, whether real
or fictional, and usually of another time. As she plays, she focuses on
the image of these places and becomes part of the scene.
More recently Alison has been commissioned by The Quietus to compose a
new piece of long-form music as the first release in their Singularity
series.SHIT AND SHINE (USA)https://shitandshine.bandcamp.com/album/phase-corrected-2Availability: Last week of February + first week of March 2023
Territories: Europe + UK« Based in Texas, Craig Clouse makes a lot of music, and he has fun doing
it. How else do you explain record titles like Cunts with Roses, Toilet
Door Tits, You’re Lucky to Have Friends Like Us and, perhaps best of
all, Find Out What Happens When People Start Being Polite For A Fucking
Change?
For over 10 years, Clouse and the various other musicians who’ve been in
and out of Shine and Shine – the group’s press material regularly refers
to performing live with 10 drummers at a time – have been gutting
post-punk, krautrock, electro and more for parts, combining the
grubbiest aspects of all those sounds into something that’s somewhere
between Big Black and Big Beat. » – FACTARDHI ENGL [Germany] + KARL SEGLEM [Norway]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-xUGZB4soQAvailability: Autumn 2023
Territories: Europe + UKGerman-Indonesian guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, developer and
constructor of his own instrument inventions and sound installations,
sound researcher, performer and video artist. Karl Seglem is described
as one of the most exciting contemporary tenor saxophonists and
composers in Norway.CHRISTIAN VASSEUR (France)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_Uy2QWGKIMAvailability: On request
Territories: Europe + UKFor 15 years, he has been teaching musical theater and free
improvisation classes to various groups of people:
children and adults teen-agers in custody, disabled adults and children.
Meeting with highly vulnerable or helpless people has had a deep
influence on the way he works today.
He has composed many pieces of music for various instruments and bands.
The Christian Vasseur’s music borrows as much from classical tradition
as from popular music.
It is free of any form of dogma with some great musicians as spiritual
masters: Robert Fripp, Heitor Villa-Lobos, John Cage, Derek Bailey etc.
As a polymorphic musician he every often takes part into
interdisciplinary events where music combines itself with other artistic
media, such as photography, video, dance and theatre.
In theatrical events, his music acts as a counterpoint to the text,
creating an extra voice, sometimes melodic, sometimes dissonant or
noisy, based on the requirements of the staging.
Christian Vasseur has been involved for a long time in the playing of
multi-string instruments as eleven string alto guitar, archlute, mohan
veena, weissenborn-harpa and electric ten string lapsteel guitar.
These instruments allowing him to explore new sound universes.
Thanks for reading.I hope to hear from you soon.Regards.Alain

Dear all,

Please find here under some bands and musicians who are available for live concerts/performances.

I am booking some dates for them.

Please tell me if you want to set up a concert/performances for one of them.

MAHADEV COMETO – Ex Young Gods (Switzerland)
https://youtu.be/Q3GX0YWZK6s
Availability: On request
Territories; Europe + UK
And so now, it’s my turn to warn listeners: Taj Mahal Mafia contains material for cyborgs, especially for evolved and future cyborgs… unless we move ahead of ourselves, and reach this new planet (which is, in fact, our own, one hundred years from now), because Cometo is already there, thanks to his incomprehensibly-tuned and chorded vehicle; his arms, eyes, and ears are more numerous, longer, and bigger than ours ; he hears what we will hear in the future, he sees what we will see, he smokes what we will smoke. He has already reached his conclusions concerning the present, and I can subscribe to them. I make Taj Mahal Mafia echo off the walls of my batcave to encourage the neighborhood’s teleworkers, and I paint my walls with a layer of sound waves so that they stay right there vibrating, ready to teleport me to pirate Cometo’s acoustic island

ZEA [The Netherlands) & XAVIER CHARLES [France]
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVI5YZ6ffO8
Availability: Early November
Territories; France
Great collab between guitarist Arnold de Boer (Zea/The Ex) and clarinetist Charles, with the whole Zea gang joining him on the other side. The group’s Leadbelly cover is the best version of this tune I’ve heard since Panther Burns tackled it – the arrangement is almost like some unknown avant African disc. And the De Boer/Charles duo stuff is as good and quite similar, although in a slightly sparser way.

WONDERFLU [France]
https://music.wonderflu.com/
Availability: On Saturdays only in 2022 from 19th November.
Territories: Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium
We make indie rock. Nowadays, it doesn’t seem to mean anything but we still believe it does
It means that with a fuzz you can play Satisfaction but you can also do more than that. That one verse and one chorus is ok But that eleven verses without chorus is also ok That Sonic Youth didn’t die in vain, that the Screaming Trees will go on releasing damn fucking good albums and that Kurt Cobain will reunitesomeday (er, or something like tha

FELDERMELDER [Switzerland] + JULIAN SARTORIUS [Switzerland]
https://feldermelder.bandcamp.com/album/bonn-route
Availability: Many open dates in November 2022
Territory: Benelux
A collection of pieces about the discovery of sounds and sonic universes hidden in objects, places and within yourself.
Building on his practice of site-specific performances and percussive sound walks, Julian Sartorius captured sounds and patterns at eleven locations: the train station and cemetery, on the banks of a stream, on a bicycle path, and in an intimate cavern above the village’s lake, amongst other locales. Sartorius documented the soundscape of the village in field recordings, recorded samples of objects and captured percussive patterns by playing on the architecture and vegetation found on-site.
Feldermelder then processed these recordings into eleven compositions, preserving the locations’ acoustic identities, but expanding on Sartorius’ material. Besides the bassline on ‘Veloweg’, Feldermelder used only sound reactive synthesis and resonators to create additional sounds, layers and tracks, thus multiplying the spectrum and rhythms of the original material. ‘Bonn Route’ is a musical journey rooted in the emittance of sound, and our resonation with the world around us.

SILVIA TAROZZI (Italy) + DEBORAH WALKER
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s–6pRdlZMw
Availability: From December 2022 onwards
Territories: Europe + UK
Silvia Tarozzi and Deborah Walker share a friendship that evolves into a long-lasting artistic partnership, around improvisation and contemporary experimental creation (Éliane Radigue, Philip Corner, Pascale Criton, Tim Parkinson), with a few forays into Italian new-wave (Offlaga Disco Pax). They are also part of the contemporary French ensemble Dedalus. They have been performing in International Festivals and venues such as Redcat (L.A.), Mills College (Oakland), Santa Barbara University, Fondation Cartier (Paris), Biennale Musica Venezia (IT), Café Oto (London), Angelica Festival (Bologna, IT), Festival Musique Action (Nancy, FR), Tectonics Festival (Glasgow), Ultima Festival (Oslo, Norway), Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (UK), Only Connect (Norway), Louth Contemporary Festival (Ireland), UNAM (Mexico), Institut Français (Mexico), Italian Instituts in Paris and Strasbourg, On Unseen Worlds they released in 2017 “EXTREEMEIZMS early and late” featuring Philip Corner’s
