From those humble beginnings he has continued as a songwriter and as arranger and producer for the likes of Bing Selfish and Kamura Obscura amongst others. He hosts a weekly radio programme, ‘The Club Integral Show’ for Resonance Radio in London and has written radio comedy shows for that station. Over the years he has been associated with several musical groupings including Orchestre Murphy, Miners Of Banal, Murphy No Geisha, The Plain People Of England and more. A compilation LP of his selected works, ‘Come Up And Hear My Etchings’ was released in 2018, and his latest EP, ‘The Eventual Window’ will be out on vinyl this year.MORDRED (USA)https://mordred.bandcamp.com/Availability: 16th and 18th June 2022 Territory: FranceMordred is an American funk metal/thrash metal band based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In their initial career, they released three studio albums and one EP from 1989 to 1994. The album Fool’s Game (1989) meets the Bay Area thrash spirit, while The Next Room is more akin a Faith No More album. In a 2016 interview on music website No Echo, bassist Art Liboon spoke about the lack of success after The Next Room was released: At this time, [Mordred drummer] Gannon [Hall] took over as manager. We seemed to be moving along okay during the recording. The noise appeared to be giving it a supportive reaction. When it hit the shelves, our strongest fanbase in Germany either shunned the record or didn’t know about our forthcoming tour. There were no pre-sale tickets for the tour. Noise pulled the plug on the tour. We said, ‘Fuck you,’ by disbanding. We were not bluffing. The tour cancellation and growing tension between Gannon and Karl from Noise led to the ultimate sacrifice: ending the band. After their first breakup in 1995, Mordred announced a reunion in 2001. In the following year, they played live in their hometown of San Francisco and went on to perform again. Despite this, no new material from the band was released until 2015. On October 20, 2013, Mordred created their official Facebook page, and a few days later, they announced a reunion with the « In This Life » lineup. The band toured the UK and Ireland in 2014 with Jeff Gomes on drums alongside British Metal Revival band Kaine. Their music speaks sensitively of hatred and love inherent in harsh urban life, with carefully polished lyrics and unleashed improvisation. The duo have spent nearly a decade and a half jamming on the streets of Zimbabwe, first starting out as the First Street Band. In a former life, Gonora was a member of one of Zimbabwe’s most successful bands, The Jairosi Jiri Band. After the group disbanded, he fell on hard times but found an appreciation of his music on the streets of Zimbabwe. The pair’s playing has seen them garner over 10 million views on social media.
