BEN GLAS (USA)https://room40.bandcamp.com/album/fugal-statesAvailability: On request
Territories; Europe + UKBen Glas (b. 1992) is an experiential composer based in Berlin. Through ephemeral compositions Glas’ work questions preconceived notions between the acts of passive hearing and active listening. In seeking to discover open ended forms of music and pragmatic listening perspectives, Glas’ compositions focus on the realms of subjective perception and cognition, via the use of acoustics, psychoacoustics and space as tools for sonic composition.DECOLONIZE YOUR MIND SOCIETY [Hungary]https://decolonizeyourmind.bandcamp.com/Availabilities & territories End of June [Benelux] and 6th-11th July North Germany + ScandinaviaInspired by non-European traditional musics, non-tempered tuning systems, psychedelic ritual performances and the legendary Jon Hassell’s Fourth World music, Decolonize Your Mind Society was founded by Balint Szabo Gosheven as a natural continuation of his creative focus and work. The band has an absolutely unique sounding thanks to the special instruments they use like the glissonic wind instrument or the refretted just intonation guitar, not to mention the retunable analog synthesizer that further expands their amazing musical planet. Just intonation music needs new approaches, new instruments and their effort on their debut seems quite extraordinary.T he band recorded the material during three days at Supersize Recording Studio in Budapest and came out with this funny, unique, crazy sounding and uplifting music. Despite the current apocalyptic state of the world they tried to celebrate life through the sheer joy of playing together and they would like to present these extremely colourful tunes to the public as a reminder that there is always a bright side of this amazing magical universe.TAUPE (UK)https://taupe.bandcamp.com/Availability:1/2/3/4/6/8/9/10/11/12 September
Territories: NL/BE/FR/DE/DKTaking risks only works if you’re willing to fail, and Taupe share an understanding that there’s no wrong way to play.A decade of friendship has conjured a spooky telekinesis that anchors the band, even when their improvisations teeter on the edge of total collapse. The three-piece are an explosive live band, veering from taut metronomic precision into intentionally turbulent, unchartered territory. A DIY ethos feeds their wonky compositions, colliding sour scatter-skronk with sludgy, doom-inspired riffs.Anarchic, joyful debut album Fill Up Your Lungs and Bellow (2017) was best described by All About Jazz as “a chain of chemical reactions”, and their 2019 EP Get The Keys is a wild joyride through the night their car was almost stolen – with their instruments, Mike and Adam still inside it. Not Blue Light (released April 7th 2020) is their boldest record yet. Picking up the story from where the EP left off, it rattles from shit-your-pants fear to adrenaline, relief and total bafflement. It’s no surprise that their exhilarating sense of discovery has won them support from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Freak Zone and BBC Radio 3’s Late Junction and Freeness, as well as support slots with acts such as Deerhoof, Richard Dawson & Circle and Melt Banana. Fizzing with ideas, Taupe are a non-jazz band that prizes surprise over any specific soundWILLIAM HOOKER [USA]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQ2uuND6bq4Availability: From early October 2024 onwards
Territories: Europe + UKWilliam Hooker a musician, composer and a poet recognized as “an iconoclast, and one of the most innovative musicians andrummers of his generation. With over 70 recordings as a leader – encompassing jazz, new music, experimental music and multi-disciplinary forms of expression ( including dance, silent film and spoken word) he has presented his work in venues that include the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Yoshi”s(SF), Issue Project Room, Roulette, Vision Festival, Rhythm in the Kitchen Music Festival, JVC Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center, Victoriaville Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, The Walker Art Center, Queen Elizabeth Hall(London), Statgarden(Koln), Hayward Gallery, Wadsworth Atheneum, Jimi Hendrix Tribute Tour (Germany), CBGB’S, Real Art Ways, MTV, Middle East-Boston, SLIM’S, Spaceland, Experimenta Argentina, CMJ Music Festivals, Duke University RISD, Tel Aviv, & others. William Hooker has received commissions and support from the New York State Council on the Arts, Meet the Composer, Tokio Marine Insurance Company and colleges and universities such as Oberlin, Fordham, Duke University, RISD, Columbia, New York University, Boston University, Princeton, Dartmouth and many more. The critical acclaim of his most recent album, Symphonie of Flowers (ORG), and the performances in support of it are overwhelming. Some of his earlier recordings have been reissued recently, including his 1977 debut, … Is Eternal Life and 1997’s Mindfulness (ORG). Hooker also has his own podcast called “The Lost Generation: Outside the Mainstream”, an interview series devoted to the free-jazz musicians of the present. He’s now at work on its book as a companion piece to the full-length documentary film just completed.EVERYTHING FALLS APART (Belgium/UK)https://everything-falls-apart.bandcamp.com/album/everything-falls-apartAvailability: On request
Territories: Europe + UKInspired by Danielewski’s masterpiece “House of Leaves”, Everything Falls Apart (EFA) brings together in a brilliant dialogue prolific English producer Ross Tones, aka Throwing Snow (Houndstooth), and double bass player Otto Lindholm (Icarus, Gizeh, Totalism). Through a deep connection and appreciation of music the two artists hit it off instantly upon meeting and despite the improvisational nature of their practice, the underlying concept of their collaboration was thoughtfully composed. They are two musicians using different languages yet achieving a mutual understanding.
I hope to hear from you soon. All the best.Alain

MAT ERIC HART (UK)https://www.materichart.com/spiritsandreflectionsAvailability: October 2024 – April 2025.
Territory: Europe + UKMat Eric Hart (London, 1988) is an Anglo-Irish artist, composer, producer, field recordist and DJ who now lives in Provence. His work explores field recording, acoustic ecology and soundscape composition through a practice deeply rooted in listening to and connecting with the natural world. He has travelled the world in search of sounds that embody and reflect the true spirit of the people, spaces and environments he encounters. His works examine the relationships that exist between these demographics using sound recording as a medium for
channeling nature, rituals, folk culture and sacred spaces into hyper-realistic, meditative compositions.//LESS (France)https://lessmusic.bandcamp.comAvailability: On request
Territories: Europe + UK//LESS is a French noise/punk trio that overwhelms you with their torrent of noise, driven by explosive rhythms, two bass lines boosted with effects, and powerful and tortured vocals. The trio have been making waves in their hometown of Annecy, France, and the rest of France and are now located at Tours, France. They already released 6 tracks (the ghost is clear record, Reptilian record) and have won over an international audience!
By utilizing two bass guitars and drums, they are able to add a lot of heft to their dissonant and dark sound as they captivate audiences with their heaviness whenever they perform live. Inspired by the noise and punk scenes from the late 80s and early 90s, the band explores topics such as politics, religion, current events, and addictions. Taking a critical look at today’s society and the state of the world.ECLIPSE (Belgium)https://www.inner-sense-movement.com/eclipse-videoAvailability: On request
Territories: Europe + UKThe Eclipse project is a performance of Eve Bonneau (see bio) and the music of PJ Vranken. PJ is a composer influenced by John Cage and Morton Feldman. He has assimilated the work of John Cage and choreograph Merce Cunningham for a free rapport between dance and music… He is the director of the experimental music festival les Nuits Beau Tas in Brussels…Eve Bonneau is a transdisciplinary artist and body pedagogue based in Brussels. Trained as a dancer at the École Nationale de Danse de La Rochelle, then at P.A.R.T.S (2002 – 2004), she also followed the bodywork of psychomotrician Jacques Garros, whose teaching laid the foundations of her artistic approach. At the crossroads of somatic practice and the visual arts, her projects question our capacity to  » sense « . Her performances have infiltrated Belgium, Mexico, Poland, Germany, Austria and Brazil. Her research takes the form of a pedagogical approach that she passes on through her independent workshops and interventions in schools, as for example since 2009 at the visual arts school La Cambre. Since 2020, Eve has been introduced to the hypnotic tool.LUMPEKS (France/Poland)https://umlautrecords.bandcamp.com/album/polonezAvailability: On request
Territories: Europe + UKLumpeks, French-Polish quartet playing a music at the crossroads between jazz and Polish traditional dance music, is coming back with a second album Polonez. The repertoire of this new opus is the fruit of a field research organised in march 2021 at musicians of different generations. In the continuity of this oral transmission, the band Lumpeks improvise freely with dance tunes and traditional folksongs. The evocative title reminds both a popular dance in the traditional musicians’ repertoire as well as the famous 80’s car model, as a nod to the band’s trip through the countryside of the Radom region.JANNEKE VANDER PUTTEN (The Netherlands)https://aloardi.bandcamp.com/album/jnnk-2023Availability: On request
Territories: Europe + UKP debut of the Dutch vocalist Janneke van der Putten. Her voice emerges from deeper grounds, shaping the acoustic aura of architectural and natural spaces, exploring the limits of vocal techniques through site-specific performances. Becoming siren, becoming storm, a rose of resonance for a new world.

Janneke van der Putten (Amsterdam, 1985) is a visual artist and vocalist based in Rotterdam. Her voice is her main tool, guiding her through physical and sonic explorations in different landscapes. In her site-specific performances she uses extreme vocal techniques and architectural features to relate with the here and now. Janneke is autodidact in various extended vocal techniques and studied North-Indian Dhrupad singing with Amelia Cuni and Marianne Svašek (Berlin & Rotterdam, 2009 – 2014). She completed her MMus in Artistic Research, Royal Academy of Art & Royal Conservatoire (The Hague, 2013) and her BDes in TXT (Textile), Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Amsterdam, 2009). Solo exhibitions include: ‘All Begins with A’, TENT, Rotterdam, 2015; ‘Directed to the Sun’, Quartier am Hafen, Cologne, 2017; ‘Quitsa’, CINNNAMON, Rotterdam, 2017; and duo-show ‘[to]’, Kunstraum 34, Stuttgart, 2020. Her solo debut album ‘JNNK’ was released on the June 21st Solstice 2023. Her previous album was made together with Sajjra Xhrs Galarreta (PE) for their project ‘Invisible Architecture’ (Aloardi, 2015). Other composers Janneke collaborated with are Budhaditya Chattopadhyay (IN), Werner Durand (DE), Yvan Etienne (FR), Philemon Mukarno (ID/ NL), Rory Pilgrim (UK) and Marcus Schmickler (DE).
GOZU [USA]https://gozu.bandcamp.com/album/remedyAvailabilities; 15th-27th June
Territories: Europe + UKTo deserve the term ‘timeless’, an album really does have to transcend the era in which it was created. Equilibrium unequivocally achieves this. With roots in 60s psychedelia and classic rock, the fuzzy stoner riffs of the 70s, the grit of 90s grunge and the winning dirty rock n’ roll that has in recent years made a resurgence, Boston, MA’s Gozu have been churning out killer records since 2009. With 2016’s Revival they took their sound in a somewhat new and more aggressive direction, and in doing so, dropped the most compulsive, exciting and downright badass release of their career – and Equilibrium has only raised the stakes. « We wanted these songs to hit a nerve, make people shake their ass and enjoy simply being alive, » says vocalist/guitarist Marc « Gaff » Gaffney, who founded the band with lead guitarist Doug Sherman. Much of the record’s strength stems from the unit growing since Revival. « I would have to say that the band is sounding the best it ever has right now, » Gaffney states plainly. « It takes a bit of time to feel everything out. When you are serious about it, you have to work as a team, and we are four guys that dig the same kind of music and love to play, but we all bring in different elements that give us our sound. It is not just one person channeling, it’s the four of us bringing in the ingredients and together making it a delicious meal. »
I hope to hear from you soon.Have a nice week.All the best.Alain
