JEAN D.L./SANDRINE VERSTRAETE
Jean D.L. (Sub Rosa) and Sandrine Verstraete have developed their very own musical universe with noisy soundscapes generated by an exploratory guitar, cassette decay and voice… the universe is dark, melancholic, but the perspective is bright.
?ALOS
From 2006 to 2011 lives and works in Berlin, now lives in Ravenna (I)
Activ from 1998, she is a member of OVO and ALLUN.
?Alos is a musician and an experimental performer, from 2003 she melts these disciplines to create shows/performances in which live music is a basic element.
Her work surpasses the boundary between performing arts, integrating experimental music, performance, improvisation and video art and makes the audience participate actively in the show through the stimulation of the six senses.
The feminine figure is the basis of each performative action and its role both in history and in the contemporary society is critically investigated.
SQUADRA OMEGA
The trio draws heavy inspiration from German experimental rock music
of the late ’60s and early ’70s, exploring jazz rock, electronic
music, library music and movie soundracks – the world famous
spaghetti-sound.
ANNETTE KREBS
Annette Krebs lives and works in Berlin as a freelanced musician and composer. She is currently working in compositions for several loud speakers, for several loudspeakers and performers and in improvisation. In addition, she has multimedia collaborations with video artists. She is exploring the aesthetics and tension between tone and noise, action and silence, and the possibilitys of a dramaturgic free and abstract music. She has been researching the mixing of tones, noises, fieldrecordings and spoken language as musical materials. In her music, fragments of language are integrated as musical materials with tonal and rhythmic abstract instrumental sounds, noises and silence. She collaborated with many musicians and artists, and participated in concerts and festivals in- and outside of Europe.
KRIMINAL HAMMOND INFERNO
The Kriminal Hammond Inferno team sharpens its plan for global domination with Kriminal Dan (Vale Tudo Freefight drummer), Diabolix Sim (bankrupted steel industry magnat & organ addict) now joining forces with Doktor Konstantin Zoog (Hallucinated Fungi Farmer). They travel as an undercover band, mesmerizing audiences with subliminal brainwave parasite signals, hidden in pop tunes from the 17th century to 60’s & 70’s charts or obscure Italian Fumetti Soundtracks! EXPECT NO MERCY
SARAH HALGAN
Great-granddaughter and granddaughter of traditional singers, Sahra Halgan has been singing since the age of 13. Her voice accompanied by traditional percussions, electric guitar and drums, provides a harmonious blend of sounds from Somaliland and a modern orchestration. Sahra continues to sings to support the Somaliland diaspora worldwide. In a high intensity and always emotionally charged show, Sahra Halgan bears testament to her path with a disconcerting lightness. This great voice of East Africa and her incredible stage presence always has the gift of putting her concert audience in a good mood with shared smiles…
